Kathleen Reichelt creates with images, words, sound and stage. Her work reflects an ongoing exploration of contemporary themes and forms.  With a background in Cultural Studies, and an ongoing pursuit of philosophy, the artist is compelled to communicate with puzzles, pluralism and thinking that art provokes. 

Reichelt's writing has been performed on stages in New York, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and the artist's visual art has been published in Maintenant 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, the journal of contemporary DADA (Three Rooms Press, NYC). Her poetry, review and article writing have been published in Sensitive Skin Magazine (NYC), Bone Bouquet (Brooklyn, NY), Arteidolia (Brooklyn, NY), Suitcase of Chrysanthemums (great weather for MEDIA, NYC) and Otoliths (Australia).  Reichelt has exhibited and performed internationally, including at AIR Gallery, Brooklyn, the Poet's House, NYC, The Player's Club, NYC, Le Poisson Rouge, NYC, Silent Barn, Brooklyn, SAW Gallery, Ottawa, Tarragon Theatre, Toronto, Casa de Popola, Montreal and Folie Culture in Quebec City.
